NDCS supporting Deaf children via new campaign

The NDCS – National Deaf Children’s Society is an organisation that supports both families of deaf children and young people.

They organise free day and residential events to give children and young people the opportunity to meet other deaf children, build confidence and have fun.

A project that they are actively involved in is called Me2.

The Me2 project is about deaf children and young people standing up and saying “Me too!” to encourage mainstream lesiure activity to become deaf friendly. Me2 events are run with mainstream organisations and after the event there are opportunities to join the clubs in the knowledge that they are deaf friendly.
